Revive Me

Teach me to do Your will,

For You are my God;

Holy and Blameless in Christ

And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

The Purpose of the Lord Will Stand

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Proverbs:19:21

Wait, See What God Brings

But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:8-9

We like things to happen instantly.  We want and want and want and we get and get and get.  

That's not how God works.  God works from His master plan and often His plan involves twists and turns to the story that we do not see coming.  What we think makes no sense, makes perfect sense in the scope of God's bigger plan.  

So, keep the faith.  Hang around for awhile and wait to see what God brings.
