Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Galatians 6:9-10
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Galatians 6:9-10
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27Let the glory of the Lord endure forever;
Let the Lord be glad in His works;
He looks at the earth, and it trembles;
He touches the mountains, and they smoke.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Let my meditations be pleasing to Him;
As for me I shall be glad in the Lord….
Bless the Lord, O my soul.
Praise the Lord.
Psalm 104:31-35
Let love of the brethren continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:1-2
What with wearing face masks and all the social distancing, we find ourselves cut off from human contact. We are expressionless faces, concealed from others. We have only our eyes with which to make contact. I propose we smile under our masks, and give a friendly wave and say "hi" to others. If we make some effort, we can show hospitality, even at a distance.
Remember, this too will pass.
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12
