For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

You never see a drowning man reject a life ring when it is thrown to him.  

Why is it that when people are drowning in sin, they reject Jesus?   Is it fear of the unknown?  Is it pride?   On our own, we are ninety-eight pound weaklings in the fight against sin.  We fan the air, while sin destroys our lives.  The good news is that we don’t have to fight sin alone.  Jesus is the heavy weight champion of our salvation.  All we have to do is ask Him into our hearts.

You are not alone.

When We Do Not Know What To Do

“O our God, will You not judge them?  For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” 

2 Chronicles 20:12

We do what we can do, and then we let God do the rest.

It is never hopeless.
