Because God Is Good

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.  For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for a good man someone would dare even to die.  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Freedom

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 

2 Corinthians  3:17

Near Miss

My bone clings to my skin and my flesh, And I have escaped only by the skin of my teeth.

Job 19:20 

When bad stuff happens, and we escape without harm, we can be thankful to God that we are spared.  God is watching over us and cares for us.  

The Big Pardon

Seek the Lord while He may be found;

Call upon Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way

And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

And let him return to the Lord,

And He will have compassion on him,

And to our God,

For He will abundantly pardon.

Strive To Move Forward

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
