Looking For You

“What woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?  When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, “Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!”  In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”  Luke 15:8-10.

Several years ago, at a contemporary church I was attending, they baptized a young man.  They uncovered the baptismal tank, and a boy, accompanied by his older sister walked down into the water.  The pastor, who was standing nearby asked the boy, “Do you accept Jesus as your Lord, Master and Savoir?”  The boy said, “Yes.  I love Jesus.”

Then his sister baptized him by submerging him under the water.
When the boy came up out of the water the congregation burst in to applause.  That’s the way it is with Jesus, He is right there to cheer us on and welcome us.

Jesus is looking for you; come to Him.
