Put Your Hands Up

So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

Psalm 63:4

I will not say there is only one way to pray, but I will say that as often as I am contrite and contemplative when I pray that I feel more connected to God and revived when I pray with my arms up and my hands reaching toward heaven. 

Maybe you don’t go to a church where people put their hands in the air when they pray, but that does not mean that it is wrong to do so in your private devotions.  Try it when you are alone with God.  Put your arms up and stretch your hands toward heaven and see what happens. 

Perhaps, revival will strike you.
