More Than Packages Under The Tree

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 

He was in the beginning with God.

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 1:1-5

There is more to Christmas than packages under the tree.  We celebrate Christmas as the beginning of a world changing event - the coming of Jesus.  Man is no longer responsible for redeeming himself, Jesus came and redeemed us all - we are no longer chained by our sins, but are free to start new.

The judgement of men no longer holds sway, it is the judgement of God which says we are "not guilty" and forgiven.

So, we celebrate this great event - the coming of the Redeemer.  Get to know Him, Jesus, and change your world.
