God The Almighty

"I am the Alpha and the Omega,” Says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelations 1:8

God is always with us.  We are never left alone.  He has said it, and it is true: He is the Almighty.   And, He is on your side.

A Crash Does Not Mean You Are Done For

You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?

Galatians 5:7

Every now and then we experience an event which puts a stick in spokes of our faith and we find ourselves sprawled out and dazed as we dust off after the wreck.  Everybody has times when they get tangled up by people or circumstances which result in less than Christ like behavior. 

The good news is that we can examine our lives and with God’s help repair our spiritual selves.

Work For The Lord

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men….

Are You Telling Me What To Do?

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.

Did you ever notice that when you get off track that God sends someone to flag you down and suggest that you rethink your course of action?  I have.  Nobody likes to be told that they are wrong, but when the message measures up to the Word of God, we need to listen and heed the warning. 

Be Made Complete

Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

No Surprise

Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.

1 John 3:13

I do not care who you are or what you do.  It does not matter what church you attend or what religion you are or even if you have no religion at all, there are people who will hate you. 

So, what then do we say?  We can say nothing and walk away from personal attacks.  We can give the bullies what they deserve and that is nothing.  No reaction at all means we rob them of what they want, a show for their audience. 

God loves you and no amount of worldly hate can change that.
