No Surprise

Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.

1 John 3:13

I do not care who you are or what you do.  It does not matter what church you attend or what religion you are or even if you have no religion at all, there are people who will hate you. 

So, what then do we say?  We can say nothing and walk away from personal attacks.  We can give the bullies what they deserve and that is nothing.  No reaction at all means we rob them of what they want, a show for their audience. 

God loves you and no amount of worldly hate can change that.
