But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. The seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
James 3:17-18
When a tormentor chooses a hot button topic, it is easy to get sucked in. What is not so easy is to respond in a way which will surprise our tormentor.
What do we do? Do we go in swinging and shoot off our mouths? Do agree we if its true, because the truth is the truth? Do we ignore them and walk away?
The first choice means hard feelings by someone and the latter choices are more peaceable and allow everyone to save face.
Exercise wisdom and make peace.
