For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul? What will a man give in exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of his Father with holy angels.

One of the trends in business and politics is the tendency to cheapen the value of truth. Ethics have been reduced to helping one decide when it is okay to lie and when it is necessary to tell the truth. Hype and spin are rationalized by assigning degrees of truth to lies.
With Jesus there are no degrees of truth; there is truth. Jesus calls us to confront those who engage in sinful practices and to publicly acknowledge that we stand on our Christian faith.
Be brave. Ask, “What would Jesus do?” Then do it.
