Give It

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”  Luke 6:36.

The news reeks of the horrible state of the economy.  Things we have taken for granted are not granted to so many people.  Some would imply that for those who are not living the American dream that it is their own fault for making stupid decisions like not getting a good education or buying a house they could not afford or having too many children, but that is not what Jesus says.  Jesus says be merciful. 

Jesus says be merciful because we all mess up in different ways and we all need mercy. 

Now, go out there and cut people some slack.
