Assemble

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”  Hebrews 10:23-25

We know we are redeemed by Jesus, and are no longer subject to the consequences of sin.  Our obligation now extends to other Christians in helping them maintain and practice their faith in Christ.  It is for this reason that we need to come together to worship.   Not only does God desire our worship, He makes it clear that we gain strength and courage through fellowship with other Christians.
