Take The Gospel

Therefore, those who had been scattered went about preaching the word.

Acts 8:4

The early church suffered unbelievable persecution, including the stoning of Stephen the Disciple, beatings and imprisonment.  This resulted in Christians running away from Jerusalem.

Persecution did not destroy the Church.  Persecution helped build the Church because everywhere that the Christians went they preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Lord, Master and Savior.  And, men, women and children believed the message and were saved.

If we face persecution for our Christianity, we need to remember that God can use anything to His glory.  For us a little ridicule is a small price to pay for the salvation of our relatives, friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Our mission is to take the Gospel to the world.  Let us do it boldly.
