Dare To Change

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.

Hebrews12:11-13

Jesus calls us to follow Him and to become like Him in our actions.  This is a tall order because change can be difficult.  Old habits are comfortable and adopting new habits can be awkward.  It is like learning to use your left hand when you have been right handed all your life – it can be done, but it requires effort.

God knows this about us and that is why we are encouraged to make changes in those areas of our lives where we are doing things which will in the long run be detrimental to us.

And, through all of this God will be there to comfort and encourage us because He wants us to succeed.

Be brave, dare to change.
