For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God….
Romans 8: 14-16
When ask Jesus to be our Lord, Master and Savior, we are ushered into the family of God. God sent Jesus to rescue us from our sinful ways and to restore us to our right relationship with Him – that of His children. We are full partakers in God’s love and generosity.
We are not mere associates of God; we are His sons and daughters.
