“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
“For as
the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:8-9
My
five year old granddaughter was standing on the bathroom scale and I asked her
what she was doing. She said, “I’m measuring
my feet."
That’s
the way we are with God. We watch what God
is doing and we think know what He is doing, and then it turns out that God is
doing is something entirely different.
And, that something is a hundred times better than anything we anticipated.
God
is on our side and He has something far better planned for us than anything we
can imagine.
