Revive and Thrive

But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.  For this reason it says, “Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

Ephesians 5:14-15

Tis the season to fall into a rut; the weather is sad, the days are short, and we are all done with Christmas.  We are without celebration.  It is time to recalibrate and reset our inner man or woman.  We need to do something. 

May I suggest we start by spending some time reading our Bible and praying.  Perhaps, like the football players do, we should try doing “two a days.”  Read and pray in the morning and again later in the day. 

There is nothing like a do it yourself revival to translate into a thriving ministry to the people we meet.  When we are filled up with God and His love, it is bound to splash out on those around us.
