But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Hebrews 1:5

We do not have to be rocket scientists to be wise.  Wisdom has to do with the ability to understand what is expected of us or what the right thing to do is, and to do it.  If we are confronted by a hundred different possibilities, we can by using wisdom determine what the right thing to do is.  Sometimes, it does not matter what we choose to do, and in those cases, wisdom is the ability to know it does not matter and to do something.

If we lack the confidence to make decisions, then we can ask God and He will give us the wisdom we need.  We need not stumble blindly through life full of self-doubt, we only need to ask, and God is there to help us. 

God made us and He will give us wisdom.
