Peacekeeping For Christmas

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unit of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:1-3

Sometimes, along with all the holiday parties and celebrating comes bickering among families regarding who will celebrate where and when.  And, sadly, this often involves children.

Let us step back and take a look at what we can do to make all this better for our families.  Rather than quibble about the celebration, let us declare our decision to forgo fighting for Christmas on Christmas and yield to the other side and have our party on another day so that the children get two or three or four celebrations filled with the love and joy that Christmas is all about.

And, we all will have a Merry Christmas.
