I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His
life for the sheep.
John 10:11
At
Christmas and Easter churches are filled with people who only come to church
for those two occasions and sometimes the regular attenders get a little bent
out of shape because they may crowd them out of their regular seats.
And,
Pastors sometimes make snide remarks about being glad to see all the visitors
and that they will see them again at Easter.
All
these Christmas and Easter people are a good thing. It is a great opportunity for them to hear the
Gospel and for us to extend the hand of Christian fellowship to them.
Jesus
is the Good Shepherd and He gave up His life for us. The least we can do is willing give up our
seats for His sheep.
So,
get ready to celebrate Christmas with everyone who comes to worship the new
born King.
