Round Up Your Enemy's Ox

If you meet your enemy’s ox or donkey wandering away, you shall surely return it to him. 

Exodus 23:4

God gave the Israelites rules dealing with good human relations.  With God it is always about doing what is right, not what is convenient.  

I think the proof of our commitment to God is not how we treat those who we love, but how we treat those who we don’t like.  It is easy to be kind to those who are kind to us, but it is hard to do so to our enemies. 

So, when the grouch down the street who calls the police because your kids make too much noise, asks for a lift, go pick him up.
