Total Makeover

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 13:2

When God gives us a total makeover it is more than a haircut or a new lipstick color. It starts on the inside and flows out from our hearts and lips.  We can no longer stand idly by and watch suffering or injustice because our hearts are changed and when we see people in need we reach out with kind words and care.

Get your total make over and be transformed.  Ask Jesus to be your Lord, Master and Savior.

The Bible Says What It Says

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness so that the man (and woman) of God may be adequately equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16

One thing I suggested my children do to help them make better decisions was to ask themselves, “Do I want people to read this in the newspaper?”

Once when my daughter made an error in judgement I asked her if she asked herself the question.  She replied, “Yes, but I didn’t answer it.”

That is the way we can sometimes be with God’s word.  We might not particularly like what it says, but that does not detract from the fact that it is the truth and it is in our best interest to do that which God has commanded us to do.

God’s Word, the Bible, provides us with sound advice designed to equip us for good work and a good life.

The Bible says what it says, and it is to our benefit to follow its directions.

Hold On

But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end….

Hebrews 3:13-14

Work For The Lord

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

Praise The Lord

Praise the Lord, all nations;
Laud Him, all peoples!
For His lovingkindness is great toward us,
And the truth of the Lord is everlasting.
Praise the Lord!

Ask

Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to Our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

Isaiah 55:6-7

As long as we have breath in our bodies, it is never too late to come to God.  No one is too bad.  Even if you have made a million mistakes in your life, God wants to forgive you.

All you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive you and to be your Lord, Master and Savior and God will welcome you into His family.

Ask today.
