Glad To See You

“Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”

“When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!’

“In the same way, I tell you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Luke 15:8-10

I do not own much jewelry but I like the jewelry I have and wear it often.  Several years ago, I arrived at work and found that one of my earrings was missing.  I looked around on the floor and did not see it.  After work, I checked the inside of my car.  Then I checked my house, looking in the bathroom and shaking out the clothes in the clothes hamper.  I did not find it.  For days I went around looking for the earring, finally I gave up on finding it.

About two weeks later, at work I parked my car one parking space over from where I usually parked.  When I got out of my car, there on the parking lot pavement was my earring.  It was in perfect condition.  I was very happy.  I told all my co-workers about finding my earring.  I still have the earrings today.

If we can find joy in finding a small piece of jewelry, then imagine the great celebration in heaven when a lost soul finds Jesus and turns his/her life around.

God loves and values you.  Ask Jesus into your life, and trigger a heavenly celebration.
