As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12
Sometimes old sins and their consequences come back to haunt us. We "what if" ourselves and fall into to the pit of pity because of our past sins.
God says He has removed our sins. They are gone and we are new and we need to accept this and not dwell on our past mistakes.
We cannot undo what God has done for us, so let us accept God's forgiveness and get on with the business of living Godly lives.
