“I
am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of
Christ, for a different gospel which is really not another; only there are some
who are disturbing you, and want to distort the gospel of Christ.” Galatians 1:6-7
They
are still out there today. They come
under the guise of Christianity but proclaim principles which are contrary to
the Bible. They insert slivers of truth
in their corrupted message but by and large the message is not salvation
through Jesus.
The
Bible is our gold standard. We can
measure what anyone teaches against what the Word of God says. If the words don’t measure up then we reject
the message.
