What
then shall we say to these things? If
God is for us, who is against us? He who
did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not
also with Him freely give us all things?
Romans
8:31-32
The
Apostle Paul and the Disciples had a rocky road to travel as they took the
Gospel to the world. They were beaten
up, they were run out of towns and they were locked up in prisons – at least
the lucky ones were. The not so lucky
ones were martyred.
But
in all these things, they never lost sight of the great gift they had been
given – eternal life through Jesus Christ.
We
too can receive this gift. We can know
the power of Jesus in our lives. All we
need to do is to confess our sins and invited Jesus to be our Lord, Master and
Savior.
God
is on our side.
