“Then
Moses said, “What if they will not believe me or listen to what I say? For they may say, ‘The Lord has not appeared
to you.’.”
Exodus
4:1
We
are not the first ones to argue with God.
Moses argued with God. And, if
you read the rest of Exodus 4, you will see that God refuted his every argument. Moses was on record as a reluctant leader,
but history remembers him as one of the greatest leaders of all time.
When
God calls us to action we can argue we are not smart enough, rich enough,
strong enough, or don’t have enough time.
But God says, “I’ll fix that. Now
get busy.”
God
does not call us to be perfect. He calls
us to be obedient.
