The Argument

“Then Moses said, “What if they will not believe me or listen to what I say?  For they may say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you.’.”
Exodus 4:1

We are not the first ones to argue with God.  Moses argued with God.  And, if you read the rest of Exodus 4, you will see that God refuted his every argument.  Moses was on record as a reluctant leader, but history remembers him as one of the greatest leaders of all time.

When God calls us to action we can argue we are not smart enough, rich enough, strong enough, or don’t have enough time.  But God says, “I’ll fix that.  Now get busy.”

God does not call us to be perfect.  He calls us to be obedient.
